Official Machu Picchu Tickets must be purchased through authorized agencies like ours or the Peruvian Ministry of Culture’s website. We offer a fast, secure, and user-friendly platform to secure your entry pass. We strongly recommend booking at least 3 to 6 months in advance, especially for high season (May to October) and for circuits that include limited access mountains (Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain).

Our Machu Picchu Tours are all-inclusive and typically cover round-trip train tickets (Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes), bus tickets from Aguas Calientes up to the citadel, the official entrance ticket to Machu Picchu, and a professional, certified bilingual guide. The circuits available (Circuit 1, 2, 3, or 4) are determined by the Peruvian government and dictate the specific route you take inside the citadel; we help you choose the best one based on your interests.

The Inca Trail Tour (Classic 4-Day Trek) is highly regulated by the Peruvian government and requires special non-transferable permits. Due to extreme demand and strict limits (only 500 permits issued daily), you must book your Inca Trail with a certified agency 6 to 12 months in advance (or more, if possible). Last-minute bookings are rarely possible for this iconic trek.

The Inca Trail is famous for its historical significance and ruins, but requires early booking due to permits. The Salkantay Trek is a fantastic alternative that is generally less crowded, longer (4-5 days), and offers a more rugged, spectacular natural experience, including high mountain passes and jungle environments. Permits are easier to secure for Salkantay Trek than for the Inca Trail.

The best time to visit Machu Picchu is during the dry season, which runs from April to October. This period offers clear skies and the least chance of rain. However, this is also the high season, meaning more crowds. The shoulder months of April, May, September, and October often provide great weather with fewer tourists.
