Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Pisac – Urubamba – Ollantaytambo – Salt Mines – Moray – Cusco.

Begin your day at the Llama farm where we care those animals, including the majestic condor – the second-largest bird on the planet. As you traverse towards the Taray viewpoint, marvel at the breathtaking vistas of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the majestic Andes mountain chain, creating a visual spectacle that traverses South America. Your exploration continues at the Pisac Archaeological Site, where an expert guide leads you through the rich history and architectural wonders of this ancient Inca site.
After absorbing the historical significance of Pisac, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Pisac Local Market, renowned as the most ancient and ancestral market in the Cusco region. Here, you can explore and purchase local crafts, textiles, and traditional products, providing a true taste of the region’s cultural richness.
We continue on towards Urubamba, where we make a stop (45 minutes) for lunch. A 30 minute drive takes us to Ollantaytambo, which is surrounded by the sacred mountains. Here, we will spend about an hour.
In Ollantaytambo, we get further exposure to Incan constructions, mainly the amazing temple of the sun, enormous blocks of rock perfectly carved and polished, stone water fountains, stairs and terraces. We also get to see the beauty of the local people in their traditional dress surrounded by the sacred mountains and Valley of Patacancha and Willoq.
Afterwards we will continue our adventure and visit the salt mines which are located on Maras district, then we will visit Moray considered an agriculture experimentation center since inca times and the Salt Pants which have made it famous.
On our return, we make a quick (30 minute) visit to the famous church and archaeological site in Chincheros. We return to Cusco at about 6:30-7:00 pm.
